5 Business Ideas To Start In Nigeria And Make Good Money

Whether you are employed, self-employed, or unemployed, we all want to to successfully in whatever we do. The best way to overcome poverty and enjoy finiancial freedom is by starting a business or a side hustle. It even makes it better when you can have multiple streams of income and who knows you might be the next Dangote or Bill Gates.

A  lot of people who want to start up something are often faced with the confusion of which business to start that would be profitable. Some have the challenge of very little capital to start. So today I have come up with some business ideas that would help you achieve your dream of starting a business, and these ideas will include businesses you can start with little capital and large capital, so let's go

1. Logistics Company: the world today has increasing number of businesses spread across different continents. And every business has a common challenge of how to get their product across to potential clients with lots of businesses benefiting from online sales. So starting a Logistics company would be an amazing idea, you will help solve their problems of transporting their goods to customers. You can start off with a bike, tricycle, car or a delivery van depending on your budget and target market. You can do deliveries within and outside the state you are located. Example of some successful Logistics firm are GIG Logustics, DHL, etc.

2. Personal Shopper: a lot of businesses source their goods from outside their countries and states. Some of this businesses might need someone to help go to factories or market to source for their materials. For example if I live in China and someone wants to buy shoes and bags wholesale from Nigeria. I can help them physically go to the warehouse, pick out the shoes, show them pictures negotiate prices with the manufacturers and ensure the goods are shipped safely and at a cheaper rate for a fee. This fee could range from 100$-1000$ or more depending on the goods and quantity.  That's just one example, you can help people shop for designer items, food stuff, etc. At a fee and deliver to their homes especially for busy working class people. With this you don't even need capital, just set up your social media handle or website where people can see the various services you render and make sure to have a good portfolio that's all. I know someone who made over 2million naira from just one customer they helped to shop wholesale item from China.

3. Skincare Business: this a continuous growing industry and the amazing thing is that both men and women can do it. Everybody regardless of their social standing wants to look good. So identify a problem in that industry and try to produce products to target that problem. It could be skin lightening, skin treatment for acne, butt enhancement, dry skin remedy etc. You can either learn how to make it yourself or buy from trusted manufacturers with your specifications. Brand and  package with your attractive packaging and sell. You can promote your skincare brand through social media, Google my business, brand influences etc.

4. Selling Wholesale Skincare Ingredients: with the growing number of skincare brands especially in Nigeria, there is also a growing market for organic skincare Ingredients. Starting a wholesale business where you sell the raw materials used in making skincare product is very lucrative. You must always get customers, whether online or in a physical location. Ensure you do your marketing well that's all. Organic skincare raw material is a much needed product because without it skincare brands can't produce and make money.

5. Selling Used Iphones: IPhone has managed to still be the peoples favorite. People will do anything just to own an iPhone and I don't blame them.  It gives you respect and class because of the price. But not everyone can afford it or even when they do might not be able to afford brand new iphones. So you can start with maybe one or two fairly used iphones. You can order for cheap iphones from ebay and amazon. Most people would order for cracked iphones then repair it and resell because truth be told repairing an iPhone in nigeria is very cheap. So say you buy a cracked iPhone 7 from ebay for 35000 naira then fix it for 10000 naira, you can resell it for 80-100k depending on the spec.  So go for iphones that are mostly bought in your country or location that way you sell faster. Places to market your iPhone includes jumia, jiji, olist, etc.

Yes, I can go on and on but that would be in another blog on business, which of this businesses are you willing to try? Do let me know in the comment. Incase you have more ideas you can also leave it in the comment for others to benefit from.
